Belt Pouches

Now we all know how important your boots and vests are on a day to day basis, but I figured it was about time to have a chat about the more subtle things that makes your day easier as a police officer. Starting with Belt Pouches .

Police equipment such as a Belt Pouch are more than often overlooked by officers until they are out on patrol and realise that it's the final piece to their jigsaw.

Staying well organised is a strong tool for a police officer as you never want that moment when you can't remember what pouch your phone is tucked away in.

I find it is never a good idea to try and fit more into a pouch than it was made for so make sure you take into account all of the equipment that you're going to be carrying and then purchase accordingly.

The guys at Patrol Store have a good collection of belt pouches and they are the cheapest that I have found in the U.K

Grafters Boots

Continuing with my Police Equipment theme, today I am going to discuss Grafters Boots .

I have always found that Grafters supply high quality boots for an affordable price. This view must be shared by a lot of officers as the company Grafters continue to expand.

When you are looking to buy police boots similar to Grafters then the other brand that you may want to take into to account are Magnum. The two companies supply similar boots and they both retail at similar prices. It's not for me to say which one is better than the other so be sure to do your research and pick the one that suits you best.

I find that after a consumer has found a police boot that has served them well then they become loyal to the brand. After this has happened it is difficult to make accurate judgement on the best valued boot. All I can say is make sure that even though you may have been wearing Magnums for the last 15 years, your next boot does not necessarily need to be Magnums. Always keep an open mind and don't make snap decisions.

My favourite boot that Grafters supply is the Grafters M671A Leather . A fantastic long lasting boot that you can pick up for around £40 from Patrol Store .
