When being part a tactical team, be it part of a rapid entry squad, fire arms team. You’re going to need some tactical equipment, with this circumstance in mind its common knowledge to never settle for anything but the best. You want 5.11 Tactical Equipment!

Originally starting out in as a rock climbing company called Royal Robbins 5.11 got its name from the skills level set in the rock climbing community 5.0 (being easy) 5.10 (difficult) 5.11 is that level of professionalism which goes above and beyond. When the 5.11 started it only had one product to sell a pair of mountaineering trousers with heavily reinforced knees and backend with a sewed-on strap for hanging carabineers, How ever these same features plus a few more began to appeal to those in the law enforcement industry. The strap sown to the back of the trouser originally designed to hold the carabineers ended up being used to hold the bottom of a holster tight against the body and keep it from “printing” under a shirt. There was also a small pocket on the right side, which ended up being used as a spare magazine pocket. It was these multi-purpose designed trousers (all be it done by mistake) that gave 5.11 the very foundation they needed to become a specialist in tactical equipment.

The various items to choose from within the 5.11 Tactical Clothing range is one of which that will have any user feeling like they’ve gone to heaven. With the range being build up of jackets, trouser, short sleeved/ long sleeved tops, shirt, boots, eye wear, gloves, under gear, out door gear, head gear and accessories such as watches, tactical knives, belts and holsters will have you spoiled for choice.

All products are made to an impeccable standard with those who work with in the law enforcement, security and military fields in mind and only those in mind. For example the 5.11 XPRT (Extreme Performance for Rapid Tactics) Tactical Boots were designed and constructed for those who find them selves in more urban than rural tactical operations. With out going into too much detail some of the boots features are:

* 5.11’s Patent-Pending Kick-Toe

* Cinch system™
* Talon Stabilizer™
* 8” contour height
* Bloodborne pathogen resistant
*
USA full grain leather and 1200D nylon upper
* Antibacterial and moisture-wicking lining
* TuffTek abrasion-resistant toe

This is just one small fraction of the quality and performance that the 5.11 Tactical Clothing range has to offer.
